After learning addition and subtraction of fractions, we have now learn multiplication of fractions. Multiplication is the easiest operation on fraction, so I think you will enjoy it.

**Lesson 1: MF1 Multiplicaiton of Fractions Part 1 (Proper and Improper Fractions)**

In this post, we learn how to multiply proper and improper fractions. Multiplying of proper and improer fractions is simple. You multiply all the numerators of the factors and then multiply their denominators. The product of the numerators is equal to the numerator of the resulting product and the product of the denominator is equal to the denominator of the the resulting product.

**Lesson 2: MF2 Multiplicaiton of Fractions Part 2 (Mixed Fractions)**

In this post, we learn how to multiply mixed fractions. The easiest method to do this is to convert all mixed fractions to improper fractions before multiplying. Once you have done this, you can use the method used in MF1.

**Lesson 3: MF3 Multiplicaiton of Fractions Part 3 (Shortcut)**

In this post, we learn how to use the cancellation method to multiply fractions. Here, cancellation means dividing both the numerator and the denominator of the fractions being multiplied by the same number.

In the next series, we will learn how to divide fractions.
