AE01 Introduction to Algebraic Expressions

This is the first part of our series on algebraic expressions. In this video, we will learn how to generalize patterns to understand the meaning of algebraic expressions. Write an algebraic expression for each of the following sequence of integers. Use n as a variable.

1.) 2, 4, 6, 8, 10, …

2.) 5, 10, 15, 20, 25, 30, …

3.) 4, 9, 14, 19, 24, 29

4.) 1, 4, 9, 16, 25, 36, 49, …

5.) 5, 8, 11, 14, 17, 20, 23
