In this video, we learn to how to subtract dissimilar fractions or fractions with different denominators. Subtraction of dissimilar fractions is very similar to ** addition of dissimilar fractions**. First, you have to get the LCM of the denominators of the given fractions and then convert them to similar fractions.

I don’t get item number 5 in the practice exercise, why is the answer 67/72 when the common denominator of 6 and 9 is only 18, the answer I got was 25/18. I’ll appreciate if you can explain the solution for me. Thanks.
