AF1 Addition of Fractions (Similar Fractions)

This is the first video in the Addition of Subtraction Series. In this video, we are going to learn how to add similar fractions. Similar fractions are fractions that have the same denominators. For example, 3/5 and 1/5, because their denominators are both 5. Fractions that are not similar are called dissimilar fractions.

1.) 3/10

2.) 4/8 = 1/2.

3.) 5/12

4.) 6/6 = 1

5.) 3/2 = 1 1/2
